Who knows what the future holds? How will AI affect the labor market, or how to tackle climate change? Well, better ask that to the best. And that’s precisely why Swiss bank UBS decided to launch the Nobel Perspectives Live! events, asking Nobel Laureates in Economics to share their prize-winning work and insights at various locations globally. At The Hong Kong Fixer video productions, we get really excited when a brand gets what true, innovative and value creating content is. When, on top of that, the production challenge involves a live broadcast on the massive curved LED wall of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as well as shooting at Taiwan’s most prestigious university, we just had to it.

We teamed-up with our friends at Tonic to join Berlin-based production company Zoo Agency on this fabulous project to put together a complex multi-camera solution with an ATEM+Ross live switching system. In short, a full TV crew and on site studio for a fascinating panel discussion featuring three Nobel laureates:

• Bengt R. Holmström (Nobel Laureate, 2016)

• Robert C. Merton (Nobel Laureate, 1997)

• Michael Spence (Nobel Laureate, 2001)
